Misty - D&V

Post by Ceri on Fri Jul 04, 2008 11:42 pm

Oh dear poor Mist, in the last couple of hours she has been sick quite about 3 times (largish amounts)and seems to have had a few loose stools in the tray. She seems ok in herself at the moment though, thankfully. She had a bug only about 3 or 4 weeks ago bless her so lets hope this isn't another one. There did seem to be some fur in the first vomit but i don't think a furball would cause that much upset, to her bowels as well, would it?

We'll have to see how she goes overnight and how she is in the morning but as i said she isn't unwell as such in herself at the moment so fingers crossed...

Oh poor little baby!!! Sending lots of snuggles and hugs to the little princess.

I hope it was just a one off... and that she's not getting another bug again. Fingers crossed she'll feel better in the morning.

Thank you for asking, she seems a little better this morning - happy in herself and only a couple of little spodges of sick on the floor when i came down. We aren't sure whether what was in the inside litter tray was a wee or something else though! She has eaten some breakfast so hopefully she's on the mend Smile

All you can do is keep an eye on her Ceri. It certainly sounds as if she is on the mend though. Bless her. They must hate feeling poorly.

It sounds very similar to what Mads had a while ago. Now she's never really suffered from hairballs, but this turned out to be the prob, and we were given some 'catalax' from the vets (basically just vaseline with a malty flavour) which helps them get the hair ball out (in Mads' case it was huge! LOL).

Poor Misty, it can't be nice for her. I hope she feels better real soon. Give her a big snuggle from me. x

Poor Misty, hopefully she will be over the worst now, keeping my fingers crossed it was a 24 hour bug and nothing else.

Hello!

Misty is much better now thank you, she didn't vomit anymore yesterday or overnight and she is fine in herself so just a brief bug or something she chewed outside i suppose!

She's always very affectionate when she's been unwell and then starts to feel better, she came on my knee for big snuggles last night (she enjoyed herself but my legs were dead!!) Laughing

AWwwwwww! Bless her. She's telling you thank you, for looking after her. What a princess. I'm so relieved for you that she's feeling better, it's definately worth the dead legs! LOL
