Mads that is! Lol!

We give her metacam for her legs which basically smells the same as the childrens ibuprofen suspension, and we've always had to catch her, hold her mouth open and squirt it down her throat, but we think she's associated it with feeling better as we have to hide the bottle from her or she's licking it! Lol! As soon as I get it out she appears and follows me, no longer do I need to squirt it down her throat, I simply need to slowly push the syringe as she licks it up, the only ...

I noticed Bola had a patch of dry, flaky skin near his tail earlier today and when I looked closer there was more, but only on his spine, there wasn't a sign of this anywhere else My first thought was fleas and he was getting due for his (hopefully final this year) Frontline treatment, so I brought that forward by a couple of days.

I can't see it being fleas, not least because he's frontlined and I've never even seen a flea on him, but even if it was, they wouldn't just bite his spinal ...

I've sprayed the house with that stuff from the vets (a bargain at £20 a can - argh) but he's still scratching like mad. I've also bought a flea comb and spend a bit of time every evening having a good going over until he bites me with annoyance.
Ok, I'm not overly concerned.... yet, but Mads has been sick every day for a good few days now. It seems that she can't eat much in one go so I'm feeding her little and often as if I put a little too much in her bowl (we are talking not alot here, not even a quarter bowl as she has a daily measured ammount) she throws it back up. She's also wanting to either be near/on me or left alone by herself. She's not really showing any signs of distress though... other than being desperate to go out properly ...

Looks like she may have a fractured shoulder at worse and ligament, soft tissue damage at best. She's been given pain killers and if she doesn't improve or is still limping in a week, we are to take her back for an x-ray. She may have damaged her leg with ...

I was at work three days ago when Simon called saying Percy had been sick, I assumed he'd eaten a moth or something so didn't worry unduly. He also ate food that night so I assumed he was okay. Yesterday morning he threw up a small puddle of fluid and that was it. Tonight I've kept him in and he's had a mouthful of food and that's it. He's licking his lips a bit which I know is nausea. I'm not sure if this is the reason, but I painted some doors this morning and I found a patch of paint, or what was left of it, on one of his legs, so it looks like he's licked most it off. Thankfully, it didn't seem like there'd been a ...

I checked Mary but hers are pinky colour. Is this a skin infection of some sort? I will try and get a photo later when he comes in as it is hard to describe.

Here's a piccie I took, it's not very clear, but you can see the patchy bits. Is this normal or is it an irritation.

Sophie has just come in and left a trail of little blood spots over the floor and on the sofa, don't know how she's managed to cut her front paw and it doesn't look as though it's bothering her. Not looking forward to cleaning it, oooohhh nippy.

For the last week or so Percy's teeth have been squeeking when he eats. It's sounds horrible but he doesn't seem to have any difficulty in actually eating.

Anyone any idea what causes this? Hearing it puts my teeth on edge!

As Mary is such a fussy eater, she's not keen on beef or other meat flavour wet food. She will eat chicken sometimes. She will only eat tuna or salmon flavoured, I have now started giving her go cat fish variety pouches, they have vegs added, which she loves, also wafer thin ham as a treat. Is there enough nourishment in giving her these fish varieties or should she be getting the other meat varieties, Beef chicken etc? She does get a handful of dry at night also. I was told that if I give to ...

When I got up this morning Buddy was in his box and didn't look right, he even refused his breakfast. He went to sleep in my son's room only for my son to call out "I think Buddy's dying, he's got his tongue hanging out and having a fit". I ran into find Buds being sick on the carpet so I put him back into his box and he went to sleep. He's just been sick again, but only bringing up liquid. He did manage to bat a ball back to me when I rolled it towards him so maybe he's just eaten ...

Saturday night, around 10.30pm Princey came in limping. Non-weight bearing on his right back leg, so Sean carried him upstairs, and there he stayed on our bed all night and into Sunday. We carried him downstairs to use his litter tray and have some food and brought him back up to bed. He stayed all night last night on the bed.

This morning we took him to the vet as soon as it opened, and my darling boy has ruptured his cruciate ligament of his right back knee.

In the fear of googeling and finding all sorts of horrible solutions, I'd rather take the horrible solutions from you guys... lol!

Pok, whom will normally do a wee max twice a day... has already been weeing like a horse 3 times today... so, compared to two small to moderate wees, he's now already done his third, all wees big enough to fill a swimming pool (atleast it's sounded like that). He has as normal not been drinking (he will occasionally have a few sips of shrimpwater, but that ...
