Return of a thief
Hi All,
I've mentioned the truly horrible ginger and white tom from two doors away before, but prior to a couple of hours back, I hadn't seen him for the best part on a month, not only not in my garden/house, but on the road/in his garden.
I don't speak to his owners so just assumed something had happened to him, but right out of the blue, there he was, scrounging food I'd thrown onto my back lawn. As much as I dislike him, and it's genuine dislike, I couldn't help feeling a tad sorry for him as he looked shocking. He's lost a lot of weight and was sat there shaking like a leaf from head to tail, so if he's considered well enough to be out now, he must have been bloody poorly during the time I didn't see him.

RIP Black Tom and Beckett, not just cats, they were MY cats and the best cats ever.
Re: Return of a thief
Oh poor horrid ginger tom,I wouldn't like to think he's so ill he's shaking, what are his owners thinking of. And if he has improved enough to be let out he must have been in some state to begin with.

Re: Return of a thief
Or he's been kept in for so long that when their backs were turned he legged it! Poor soul! Bless him, I hope he feels better soon.
Re: Return of a thief
I'm only assuming he has been ill, tho' I can't think of another reason for not seeing him for so long as he was a regular/daily caller in my back garden. He *may* have been shaking thro' nerves at seeing me as I usually try and throw a cup of water over him (I really do dislike him) but I couldn't bring myself to do it today.

Oh no, poor fella.
I know you have a dislike for him Ian, but shame.... hope he is going to be ok. I dont like to see any animal in distress of any kind, like yourself and everyone else on here.
Re: Return of a thief
Poor little fellow... but the image of him shaking like a leaf from seeing you make me chuckle! lol!
I hope he's feeling better now... let us know if he pops up again!

Re: Return of a thief
I've not seen him today, so hopefully he'd just *escaped* yesterday and his owners are keeping him in, but even tho' I don't actually know them, I know their reputation round here so I very much doubt it.
