Mel and Kim

My two little CP kittens, I've named the black and white one Mel and the tabby is KIm. I've to feed Mel with baby milk9Cat milk) and see that she tries to eat, and Kim needs socialised. Kim is going to be the problem, she's absolutely terrified and she can't half screech when you do eventually catch hold of her.
Here's Mel getting her bottle, and she chewed the teat off. LOL

Oh wow! Look at baby Mel! I just love the kitten-blue-eyes! Im melting........... Looking forward to seeing Kim, so worried for her, poor wee toot must be terrified. But now she is with Mummy Kath, where better! xx

Best of luck with little Kim, and the socialising, I'm sure after a few days everythign will have settled, and the little one will be calmer.

Just noticed you posted a new reply (as I was about to post it)... and yes: I want - I want! Little Kim is gorgeous too!!! You can keep her callingcard though, I get enough of those from Pok and BG (BG never on purpose though... Pok ALWAYS on purpose).

Ouch that scratch looks nasty. We had plenty of those when we first got Mary, she hated being picked up/touched and would scratch and bite, but she doesn't really mind now.

Awwwwww, again! What a gorgeous lil girl! She's just soooooo cute! How could something that cute cause such a vicious looking scratch.... shame on you for blaming the innocent cutsie little pie! Butter wouldn't melt! LOL

With them both, am more concerned about KIM, she will need to get used to us and humans before she can be re-homed but am pretty confident with time and patience she'll come round. Am not sure how to *teach* a baby how to eat, she'll eat once it's in her mouth but she doesn't seem to know how to get it there. Help Nicola. LOL

Kath, they are both such bonny wee girls. Good luck with it all, am sure they will both turn out just fine. xx

We have them into work now LOL Steve was up and down the stairs carrying all their stuff, grumbling under his breath ( moan moan) isn't funny have we turn deaf after a few years. LOL So they're here sitting looking out of their cage, and Mel hasn't stopped miaowing at all.

Awww! What a beautiful pair (of teeth LOL). No, really they are adorable. Glad to see you're cracking the whip with Steve and getting him to lugg them about. How can he moan about that pair - look at them!

I showed Simon them and then he saw your scratch and instantly decided Kim looks crazy in her photo. "Look at the eyes!" he said. It's funny isn't it, once you see the picture of the scratch Kim does look a bit evil!

LOl, oh am going to have to get a better pic of her, then you'll see she's adorable. LOL Spitty hissy little thing, although today she has been playing with her rod toy, so that's progress. You should here the pair of them, I've just covered their cage up tp see if they'll sleep. LOL

These two are an absolute joy, they are so funny and fiesty. Kim has beautiful marking and Mel is just so full of life. Moto and Sophie have accepted them but Teddy hisses, growls and spits but Kim is fit for him. LOL (clickable)

I know... lol! But I just cannot get away from the fact that they're so tiny... this might possibly have to do with the fact that both my kitties are enormous beasts! lol! Ofcourse Pok was a tiny littleone when we got him... but that's going on four years ago... I need to see tiny little kittens!!!

They really are just so beatiful and tiny and square! I love that both baby cats and dogs are completely square until they form their own personal shape!

It's amazing just how small they are, especially Mel, but she has put on weight, can you believe that, put on weight in a day and a half. Even Sophie looks huge against them, but then again, Sophie is getting so much bigger. LOL

What little treasures, so sweet looking - Kim's little face just makes me melt!! Hope all goes smoothly with them. x

Oh they look sweet but Kim is a little devil. Last night she again got her teeth into me, when I picked her up, but this morning she has been trying to chew my mouse (PC) and I picked her up to move her and she didn't do anything, we're also able to stroke her now, she loves getting her ears fondled. So progress is slow but sure.

Oh my word! Kisses to the little darlings! Awwww!

CP has just e-mailed me to say they have someone in mind for Mel and Kim, I told them not to be in a hurry, far too soon as far as I am concened. At least another week, and a week can make such a difference in a wee kittens life.

Do CP really have a cat/kittens best intersts at heart or are they just *numbers* on a list? It sounds like the former to me, I hope you stick to your guns and insist on them waiting a while.
