I'm so proud!

Raggie brought us a bird earlier ... his first ever kill / present haha ... why do i feel weird feeling proud about this!!!!!

LOL! Coz if it were a human killing and bringing us a bird we'd go ape! But since its our babies and they are doing what comes natural (albeit on a smaller scale to their big cat cousins), we are so proud as its such an achievement for them and they are big girls and boys! LOL, Like a coming of age ritual! LOL!

Oh I know... first time Pok did his kill I was crushed (as the bird wasn't completely dead... the poor little thing died in my hands as I sat crying on the lawn... but when the bird was burried, I was also very chuffed for Pok... he was a proper cat now - a hunter!

Well the next day he bought us another ... but this time i was sad as it only looked a baby, so i told Raggie off and we went and bought him an extra giant bell for his collar lol ... now he just sulks because you can hear him a mile off, but he hasn't caught any more birds!

lol! I bet he's not chuffed with his new bell... lol! Pok, clever little bugger he is, managed to figure out how to take his bells off... went out with collar and bell... came home with collar without bell (or no collar at all)...
