sorry shouldn't snigger taht could be nasty, but reading your post and you said *I can just imagine trying to explain at the hospital.....* and it just came into my head you were going to say, how a dead squashed frog was sticking to me feet. Honestly I really am losing the plot.
Having said all that, I am glad you didn't fall down the stairs, BTW was the frog still alive?

Buddy is sleeping upstairs after coming in from the rain, and Mary has finally settled on the sofa after refusing to eat brekkie, even though I opened diffrent pouches, she wasn't interested.
Hhmmm me thinks she is now being a right fussy madam and got fed up of Gourmet, so am going to put her back onto her original food, as she seems to eat that better, and buy the odd tin of gourmet and hilife.

Princey is "touring the lane"! It is lovely down here today, and Sean spotted him in more than one of our neighbours gardens, obviously doing his rounds!

Re: What's your cat(s) doing at the moment?
They're all drying out after getting soaked to the skin
At least Bola came in willingly, I had to get wet trying to persuade Fudge to come down off my neighbours shed roof and into the house..........................and even then she complained when I carried her upstairs to the landing windowsill along with some breakfast.
I'm pretty sure they'd all been out overnight as none of the dry food had been touched and they hadn't woken me at silly o'clock, God knows why as it looks like it's been raining all night.

Re: What's your cat(s) doing at the moment?
Bola and Buddy are fast asleep, not surprising after exhausting themselves with the most frantic 20 minutes of chasing and playfighting I've ever seen two cats do
I got some half decent pics, but they were a bit dark and lightening them only showed how dirty the hall carpet is
so I won't post them.
I wish Donna could see these two when they're in that mood, it'd explain why Buddy chooses to spend so much time here. It's not me or my house, nor food as he gets very little here, that's the attraction, it's Bolas willingness to playfight whenever Buddy wants to.

Re: What's your cat(s) doing at the moment?
Bola is asleep on the spare bed, Fudge is in her box, but only after being tempted by some raw minced beef, and Buddy is out *hunting* a strange cat. I've had another visitor recently, yet another jet black cat, but this one isn't much older than Buddy going by the size of it.
Anyhow, Buddy was asleep on my recliner when I spotted the stranger in my back garden, so I woke him and sat him down on the windowsill so he could see the stranger. He didn't seem overly interested, in fact he barely glanced at it, so I didn't give it much thought when he jumped down and headed for the flap. The next time I looked out of the window, Buddy was about 3 feet away from my visitor, but with the typical bum-in-air-with-tail-wagging they do when about to pounce on something.
He did, and the last I saw was both cats heading for a gap in the fence all the local cats seem to know about and use. There was no yowling, so I don't think there was a fight, but I'm pretty sure that was Buddy's intention.

Re: What's your cat(s) doing at the moment?
Both are now lying on the bed in sheer bliss. I bought them some valerian knotties for their christmas, so being the bad meowmy that I am
I teased them by opening the outer packet and they both stuck their heads in trying to get the other packet with knotties in and I now have scratches on my hand, as a result of them trying to get the entire package of me. I did rub some on their blankie though.
I have now put them away ready to put under the tree. I bet it won't last 5 minutes when they get the scent from under the tree, it'll probably be opened before xmas.

Hee hee, you tease Lynn.
Princey has just come back in, after "braving the storm", for all of, hmm, 10 minutes! Those winds are just a wee bit TOO overpowering, even for a chunky boy like him.

Sophie is being very loving, she's snuggled into my side and making it very difficult to type this, Moto is sound asleep after stuffing his face.
I've given up worrying about what /how much he eats, it's doing my head in. let him eat !

Awww, bless the two of them Kath. Both happy wee kitties.
Princey was doing ma heid in, as he had "selective memory" syndrome, as, although I gave him his wee saucer of whiskas milk early today (and told him at the time he was "having it now, so wouldnt get it later" ), typically, he was looking for it AGAIN! I have given him his biscuits and "teased" his wee chubby bum out the door to give me some peace!

The little tinker has just jumped up on the living room window sill to be let in (just before I closed the curtains!) and is now hanging around me again expecting something " from the pantry". Aaaaargh - what are they like!
