That is what I do with mine, Buddy will sleep with his head in my hand and I haven't the heart to move him, despite the cramp setting in.

Uncomfortable? Only for Steve
Black Tom used to curl up on my chest when I lay on the sofa, a bit of wriggling later he'd be wedged between me and the back of the sofa, a bit more wriggling and he'd end up fully stretched out on his back wedged between the cushions and the back of the sofa. There was no way he was comfy, but he stayed there, tho' at least it meant I could get up without disturbing him
