Hee hee! Look at the chunky monkey! (I know you won't take offence from that, Ceri). She's so beautiful, and I love the contrast in colour between her fur and eyes.

She looks like a ball of velvet Ceri, so lovely. Are BSH chubby or is it there abundance of fur, they always look as though you could lose your fingers in the lushness of their thick fur. LOL

Bit of both, Kath. Percy is 'chunky' but not fat (big boned, shall we say). His fur is very dense, especially his ruff so that gives the appearance of being on the larger side. Percy's fur looks silker than the Blues (like Misty) - I imagine hers to feel slightly coarser. Would you agree, Ceri?

They do have a very dense, thick coat. Matilda isn't actually that chunky really, and has in the past had problems keeping weight on her!
I wouldn't say that her coat feels coarse, just lovely and thick!

Kath, my BSH's have all been fairly chunky (except lean Monty, he's not matured yet!!) but as Laura said the thick fur really 'rounds them off'.

Laura, Misty's fur is coarser than my other cats (although extremely soft behind her ears!), Moli's is very soft and fluffy (you get a face full of fluff if you even look at her!!) and Monty's is silky in parts but generally quite soft and fluffy too!

They're all so goregous, and whether or not they are chunky, they're such beautiful cats.
