Neighbours

Post by Ian B on Fri Oct 09, 2009 6:37 pm

I love this pic Laughing

Buddy, being a typical kitten-about-town, just needs a pad where he can get his head down, whereas Jimmy prefers a bigger pad with room for both a sleeping and eating area..............not forgetting the high sides which means Fudge is unlikely to spot him, even when she's coming downstairs, unless she sees him jumping in Wink Laughing

Hi Helen,

When I finally get round to moving those boxes (dare I throw them way?) I'm going to have two very unhappy and/or confused cats Laughing

It's strange how they prefer one box to the other isn't it? Neither cat has shown the slightest interest in sleeping in the other box confused

'EDIT'

That said, Buddy is trying to invade Jimmy's *castle* atm , but Jimmy is putting up stiff resistance Laughing

I'm going to be a bad dad soon tho', I can't leave the boxes there forever, with them and a litter tray I can't get to the phone and struggle to get into the set of drawers on the left. There's going to be two very unhappy/confused cats before long Laughing

The sooner they're moved the better................. Rolling Eyes

I've just heard a right comotion in the hall and automatically thought it was Buddy trying to get at Jimmy in his box, it wasn't, it was Bola doing the same thing, but he managed it and chased Jimmy up the stairs and under my bed. I've just had to seperate them, not that that helped much, Bola has just chased him downstairs Laughing

For a minute there I thought it was my Buddy in that first box, Jimmy is so like him.
That's a great picture of two hansome boys. It seems a shame to disturb them.
I'm sure once you move the boxes they will find somewhere else, unsuitable, that they can sleep in/on/under. Very Happy

Hi NurJahan,

Share the same box? Shocked That will never happen, as soon as a cat gets near Buddy he thinks they want to playfight so I can guess what would happen in a confined space Laughing

Very Happy Well so it's better separate them then have a fight. ;-)

Once I prepared a tiny box for Wahid to sleep in, but I discovered later on that the whole happy family ( all my cats) was there, I wonder how could they endure the tiny space. It was really suffocating in there. Shocked

Hi NurJahan,

It's nice that your cats get on so well to lie in the box together, it's very rare that my lot are in the same room, they all have their own places to sleep. Bola sleeps on a chair in the dining groom, Fudge changes her sleeping place every few days and Buddy is either in the box or behind my bedroom door. Of next doors cats, Dexter sleeps on my sofa, Jimmy prefers the windowsill in the junk room and Max likes my bed.
