Post by Ian B on Wed Dec 08, 2010 4:09 pm

Buddy turned up sporting a war wound on his nose earlier, there's 2 pics, the first is a lot clearer but the second is Laughing as even out of focus I managed to get him mid slurp when eating.

Quite a nip there but hasn't put him off his food, typical cat. Laughing

This is the second nose wound he's had, tho' this one is worse, and like boxers are told not to lead with their chins I'll have to tell him not to lead with his nose Laughing

As for food, it'll take more than that to dull his appetite but I've yet to convince him that pushing food of a plate with his nose doesn't mean he's eaten it all just because he can't see it Rolling Eyes Laughing

Hahaha that's exactly what Moto does with food, he thinks it's finished and really most of it is over the side, I've started giving him deep dishes, that works, but if Steve feeds him, it's whatever comes out the cupboard first, usually a shallow dish and we're right back to square one. Laughing

I've got 3 metal bowls and 3 saucers, but as my lot usually want feeding at different times of day either the bowls or saucers are waiting to be washed so they get whatever is clean at the time. Jimmy is by far the worst, not happy nosing food off the saucers, he lifts it out of the bowls and eats off the floor Rolling Eyes

Moto will do that with tuna, can't figure that out, but he has to take it a couple of steps away from his food place and eat it from the floor. confused
