As we close the catflap at night now to stop Buddy bringing in mice, Mary has started doing the toilet on the floor, not every night though just the odd occasion, despite there being two litter trays down, she doesn't use them. When we first got her she did use a tray, but I never had any in the house as both cats go outside. Now she really needs to learn how to use the box again, I'll get Mark to put some dirt from outside in a box see if she'll use that. We are planning on moving this year and I need to get her to use a box as she will be in for a while at her new home.

You could try Cat Attract Litter, Lynn, it's not the cheapest out there but might be worthwhile if it's only going to be used temporarily
