Cat flap *trap*
Taking a glass into the kitchen at midnight last night, I heard the flap being tested, but thinking it was only one of my lot coming in I took no real notice. I hadn't switched the kitchen light on as I had enough light from the living room, but then heard what sounded like a fight starting right outside the door so off I went to investigate. I found I couldn't open the door and the more I tried the louder the yowls and hisses from outside became
After a minor tug of war I managed to open it enough to see a black cat, who must have stuck a paw thro' the flap, heard me knocking about and pulled it back only for it to get stuck between the flap and the frame and the more it pulled the more it got stuck. Eventually it got free and scarpered, I last heard it clambering over the garden fence and I'm hoping it's ok, tho' I can't see this causing a serious injury.
I'm pretty sure it was either the cat from across the road or the thieving black tom, both of whom sneak in if they think I'm not around. Perhaps this will deter whichever one it was from trying the flap again for a while.

Re: Cat flap *trap*
I've never known a flap to trap a cat before, wonder if he has massive paws he'll have a bruised one that's for sure.

He's a big cat so he'll certainly have big paws, if he wasn't so underweight (imo) he'd be a giant.
Getting stuck only stopped him sneaking in for a few days tho'
