Sparky
Took her to the vets today for her vacs and chipping, poor thing was not impressed, it took 3 of us to hold her down, but I had on my really thick gloves and a thick jacket so I was confident LOL She's now very subdued although I've just gone out to see her for the night and she came out to see me, she didn't in the afternoon, probably sulking. LOL I've been asked to do a write up on her and take new pics, because the spiel she has on the website atm isn't selling her. I'll get my thinking cap on and come up with a goodie.

Oh poor lamb, who can blame her, nasty vet with needle poking her! Good thinking batman with the thick gloves! lol
Its a shame over the website, the piccy of her should be enough for someone to snap her up, she's a stunner!

Re: Sparky
How about mentioning she'll be *low maintenance* as far as vet bills go, as once the new owners have taken her for the first time they will be in no rush to take her again?

Oh poor wee Sparky, having such a traumatic time at the vets (and poor everybody else who got shredded).
Lets hope her new pics help her find her forever home. She really is a wee darling.

She was right as rain the following day, it's amazing how confident I felt holding her knowing I had so many layers on my hands, she wasn't going to draw blood easily. LOL

Re: Sparky
None at all Nicola, such a shame as apart from not liking getting groomed she's a lovely cat, don't know if she's a lap cat but she just loves it when you go out and see her.

Re: Sparky
Hope so, but the longer I have the pen the more I hate it, it's like solitary confinement, stuck out there all day with no one to fuss her, not so bad in the summer but winter?

Re: Sparky
Bless... but atleast she's got heat, a dry place place to sleep and oodles of food. I'm surprised no-ones snapped her up yet... such a beautiful girl! I guess people are tightening the belt on pets too... I see how much these two here cost us (not the food, but vets and catteries).

Pokbg I think you are right, there are so many adverts in the paper at the moment of people giving their pets up for adoption as they cannot pay for food and care it's really so sad,
there is one advert in our local paper of a 11 year old dog and a 8 year old cat from the same home and their owners can no longer afford to keep them.

Re: Sparky
Took baby back to the vet today to get her 2nd set of vacs, all the way there while she was in the carrier she kept saying helllllllllloooooooooooooooo, sure sounded as though she was saying that. She was no problem getting her injections, but we asked the vet to clip the knots on her hair, well ROFL, talk about not amused, the vet managed one and we had to let Baby free, she was screaming, I hate the noises cats can make when not amused. So the deed is down to Steve and I to try and get these knots out. hahahah can't wiat to be attacked by an unamused cat.

Re: Sparky
Sure am, but I don't think we will tackle that until someone shows some interest, she has one under her chin which we'll try and do first. poor thing I wish someone somewhere would show some interest in her. I just hate her being in there all this time.
