How they grow!

I weighed Merlin & Tabitha today and took some more photos of them as, over the past few days especcially, I've felt that they are really starting to shoot away in their growth (and in Merlin's case, their weight!).

Hasn't she grown!!! Today, 3rd February

Absolutely beautiful kittens Gilly and yes they do grow so quickly, they lose that *surprised * kitten look as they get older.

And for comparison - both with Bunny. The first in December and the second tonight





I weighed them too by doing myself first and then holding them each in turn in my arms. Merlin is a wopping 7lb and Tabitha 5lb!!! My two wee fatties!!! Especially as he was 1.63kg when he had his first inoculation on 17th December and she was 1.26kg. I'll try to translate that into pounds & ounces which is what I still work in

Edited to add: Merlin was 1.63kg which is roughly 3lb & 9.49oz

Tabitha was 1.26kg which is roughly 2lb & 12.44oz

Crikey!!!!! I'm surprised myself - Tabitha especially is looking so much more streamlined in that second pic with Bunny

I think I actually prefer them more now as their characters are really coming through and Merlin especially is such a Snuggle Monster with me

Good grief, when did that happen?! The difference is astounding, their faces have really matured.

I adore the first two piccies of Merlin - his little face is adorable.

Oh bless... your little babies growing up so fast... first gorgeous little balls of fur, now beautiful youngsters - stunning!

Whilst I was at work this morning I suddenly remembered that I had two iced buns in the breadbin from yesterday So once I got in from work I switched on the pc and made myself a cuppa and got my two buns. I went into the bedroom to tell Neil to get up and when I came back (just seconds later) Merlin was batting one of my buns around the kitchen floor!!!!!

Aww they have grown into wee beauties. Merlin's fur looks so shiny and soft, and tabitha's markings are gorgeous.

Awwwww look at them! They're looking like proper cats! (you know what I mean) As Laura says 'when did that happen' LOL! Oh Gilly they are little stunners!

They're both looking great Gilly, very happy and contented cats indeed

They grow up so fast, I remember thinking (hoping) that as Beckett was so big as a kitten he would end up as big as Black Tom, but his growth spurt didn't last long
