Feathers and blood
But no dead bird . LOL Yesterday I went to clean out one of the litter trays and there bang in the middle of *everything* was a feather, so I didn't think too much about it but then later while hoovering I noticed 3 spots of blood on the floor, clue to hunt the dead thing. LOL Moved both sofas, the coffee table searched the diningroom but no, couldn't find a thing. So either it managed to escape or one of my two little darlings had an extra on the menu . Yuk.

Hoepfulyl the little birdie got away... but my bet is still on "pressie" for later!

Mmmmm, well it can only be in the livingroom/diningroom or kitchenm rest of the doors are closed, so now you have me wondering if it is behind all our scatter cushions, guess what I will be doing the minute we get home. LOL

Whoops Don't you just love it when our cats play ''Hide The Pressie'' from Mum & Dad!
Years and years ago (late 80's/early 90's) my boyfriend Kevin found a dried up Sparrow's head underneath our settee It was all dried up and mummified so gawd knows how long it had been there.........and how long it had been since I actually moved the sofa to hoover underneath *whoops*

Re: Feathers and blood
LOL, oh you mucky besom, LOL Well we came home and did the housework and no dead mouse was found, which am glad about. LOL We were doing the garden last weekend and I went towards the side gate and there on the ground was a dried mouse, BUT this mouse had half his body squashed so either me or Steve had stepped on it at some point during the day. Yuk, all dried and flattened.

Think yourself lucky, if you'd found a dead mouse with feathers, you'd probably been in big trouble for killing the only one of it's kindTeddy wrote:LOL, oh you mucky besom, LOL Well we came home and did the housework and no dead mouse was found, which am glad about. Re: Feathers and blood
Oh no, I would have been screaming, LOL rats, yuk.
Well tonight Sophie took home a live bird, Steve heard her coming in the cat flap and went through to close her in, only to find this tiny bird acting dead, so he took it and through it outside and it flew off. Honestly what was she thinking. LOL
