Delinquents
Remember ages ago I told you aBout the catflap being mangled? well they did it again last night, a catflap without a flap. LOL I think it's Moto who is the culprit as he's always the one who is at the door as soon as we get up, Sophie is still sprawled in her bed, legs hanging out. So before we get home tonight we have to hunt and find a decent catflap, third this year.

Re: Delinquents
Sophie could have been the culprit but knows if you found her still sprawled out in her bed you'd automatically blame Moto

Re: Delinquents
I could of been Sophie, but then again she's a girlie and they don't break things, she's to sweet and innocent for that
It's a wonder my two haven't broken mine by now, as Buddy runs through like a banshee and Mary's belly is to big to get through it.

Re: Delinquents
I highly recommend our cat door. It's not the prettiest (ours is brown because we've got a brown wooden back door) but it works really well. It's a traditional two-way one but you get a barrier to slide in to keep the door shut. It's great for two reasons - one: once the flap is down Percy can in no way get through nor can any neighbour cat who comes a knocking (and they do try!) because it's made of firm plastic which slots in to place instead of being locked with a tiny plastic thing at the top, and two: once the flap is down cats can't see in or out so Percy feels nice and secure.
I bought it from Pets At Home and it's a Staywell 700. This is what it looks like. As I said, it's no beauty! http://www.staywell.co.uk/pages/series.php?SeriesID=7

Re: Delinquents
ROFL, yes that's exactly what we have/had. I don't know how they manage it but the flap slots in and somehow, one of the little bananas must get their paw wedged in between the flap and the edge of the unit thingy and pull. They did manage to crack it last month so must have decided to really finish it off this time. It has to take some amount of strength to snap it in 3. Am suprpised they haven't been cut.

That Moto Chops (or perhaps Ian is right, and it was Princess Sophie) is a right thug. Giving us scots a bad name *tuts loudly*.

Re: Delinquents
ROFL you have no idea of the contraption Steve has russled up to keep them in. Fort Knox hasn't a look in and to make it worse, Steve asked me to see if I think Moto would manage to open it, IS HE WISE???? I could barely open it. Well it was draughty before but not a whisper of air will get past this thing. Oh it's just too funny.
Moto bless him has sat outside the whole time looking dumbfounded.

Re: Delinquents
Even when my flap is locked my two seem to get it open, don't know how they manage that though, but they always seem to escape. Maybe they are Houdini in disguise.
Re: Delinquents
We know now it was definately Moto who mangled the flap, when Steve had finished the new all singing all dancing prison effect door, Moto came in, sniffed at it, then went hell for leather, trying to open it, he went ballistic. After a couple of minutes, he must have realised there was no way he would ever open this one, so gave up. This morning both of them were in the kitchen.
