Winters here
Bola has only been out twice today, 10 minutes this morning straight after breakfast and a few minutes this afternoon, the rest of the day he been snoozing on my recliner. I've never seen him so inactive before, tho' Buddy has just appeared and they're had a playfight so he's clearly feeling ok.
Fudge has only just woken and gone out, tho' it's the first time she's been outside today. I guess I'll be seeing more and more of them as the weather gets colder/wetter/wintery.

Re: Winters here
Weather plays a factor for sure. Last night Steven was working so there was just me and the cats at home, it was warm and quiet and the bothe slept from 5 to 9. Sophie stirred just as Steven came home, even noe they're both curled up, Sophie on the sofa between us and Moto on his fav cushion, talk about a pair of sleepy heads. LOL

Re: Winters here
I never gave this a thought till just now, but maybe it's not the time of year/weather, more that he's reluctant to go out as I've been letting him out and when he comes back the flap has been locked? Either way, he's gone out for a prowl but the flap is now open so he can get back in.

Re: Winters here
Percy spends most of him time in at the moment too which is really nice. It's good to see him for a change! What I don't understand is that he sleeps behind the front door curtain - right in the draft. I suppose I should be pleased, he makes a great draft excluder.

Re: Winters here
Hi Laura,
One of Fudges fav places to sleep is the landing windowsill and that is the only window that isn't double glazed. It can get very cold, even walking past I feel it, yet she happpily curls up to sleep there.

Re: Winters here
My two have been spending more time inside now the weather has changed, they are both curled up on my bed at present, and are a bit reluctant to go out.
Re: Winters here
Yep, they all become more interested in home-life when it gets to this time of year. Come spring the little turn-coats will all b*gger off and desert us again.
