Almost another *missing* report
Up till a few minutes ago I hadn't seen the black cat from across the road all day, and that's not happened for a very long time but he's just come strolling in wanting a chicken wing. For all the time he spends here I know he goes back home and tries to get in, hopefully he did late last night and stayed there.

Re: Almost another *missing* report
He turned up again last night at 11.30pm, just as I was going to bed so I had to hope he'd manage to eat his dry food quietly enough not to wake Max, which seems to have happened as there was no post midnight fighting. No sign of him so far today tho'.

Re: Almost another *missing* report
He arrived mid morning and stayed a fair while, a good sleep after a chicken wing, then with batteries recharged he dashed back out again mid afternoon.

Re: Almost another *missing* report
Normal service was resumed today, he was in when I got up and judging by all the frost on cars outside I don't blame him..............which has got me thinking/worrying about the pregnant cat if she's had them outside.

Re pregnant cat, we maybe don't give them enough credit for looking after themselves tbh, could be that's because we've molly coddled them. They're tougher than we think.............................well I'm trying to convince myself.

Re: Almost another *missing* report
True enough, you rarely hear of a genuinely starving cat, hungry yes, but not to the point of dying thro' hunger. Same goes for finding shelter, I guess only a cat that'd been kept indoors would struggle if it got out and lost, but the survival instincts would kick in sooner or later.Teddy wrote:Re pregnant cat, we maybe don't give them enough credit for looking after themselves tbh, could be that's because we've molly coddled them.
