Playful Fudge
If this was great to see, it was even better, and a huge surprise, to hear.
For such a solitary cat it was unusual to see her on the spare bed with Bola and Dexter, not least because they were both in a playful mood and wanted me to play a game of string with them. I was happy to do so but expected Fudge to jump down as they became more boisterous, not a bit of it, each time I dragged the string past her she pounced................but purring loudly all the time
She could purr for England when stroked and has been known to try and grab string at times, but to see her really playing and showing how much she was enjoying it was a first

Re: Playful Fudge
Probably Kath, but it was so out of character for her to join in like that

Re: Playful Fudge
Not so much playful last night, more annoying.
She did a bit of sunbathing yesterday but was indoors 90% of the time, till 11.30pm when she asked to go out (why she doesn't use the flap when I'm about, I have to open the door, is a mystery ) Off she trotted onto the road straight under a parked car and no amount of calling would get her to come out so I had to leave her there. She was in when I got up today tho'.

Re: Playful Fudge
I think they do it (getting us to open the flap) as it's a through back to the egyptian times when they all thought they were god, they still expect us to run after them.

Re: Playful Fudge
Her sitting there waiting for me to open the door is irritating Kath, tho' it's nothing compared to Max's habit of wanting to go out but just sitting there pawing at the door instead of using the flap. He drives me up the wall at times as he must know by now which bit is the door and which is the flap

Re: Playful Fudge
She went out late last night then refused to come in again and it looks like she spent the night on my neighbours shed roof and is still refusing to get down today Ok, it wasn't cold overnight, but I expected her to come in at some point, tho' when she has muggins here to take brekkie out to her, why should she?

Re: Playful Fudge
She's now come down off the shed roof but is still refusing to come in (again) Still, while it's nice and sunny that's maybe not so bad.
