I was impressed.......

.............by where I saw Bola yesterday morning.

I'd heard him miaowing but couldn't find him, tho' I narrowed it down to the dining room, then I saw this



The only way he could have got up there is by jumping from the dining table, but that's still a fair distance away, a good leap for a light and agile cat, but for one as heavy and clumsy as him This was just before I set off for the bus to the pub and the miaowing was letting me know he was stuck, but he got up there so he could get himself down, tho' I moved a chair to give him a bigger landing area back on the table.

Hasn't been back since? That didn't last long as he was up there again this afternoon, tho' at least I found out how he gets down. Expecting him to jump I moved the chair again to make the table a bigger target area, but no, he slides his front paws down onto the wooden bits in the glass panels, then when he's too far down to change his mind he launches himself into space and (no doubt hopefully) hits the floor.

Oh I'm impressed with him he'll love being up there, away from everything and feeling totally safe. Hope there are no claw marks on the wood

Yeah, I'll have to watch out for scratch marks as I've told a auntie she can have this unit (when she gets off her ar#e and organises transport) Now I've seen how he gets down I want to see him get up there, I can't believe as heavy and ham-pawed a cat as him can jump that far/high, but he must do.

I didn't actually see it, but judging by the sound of mad scrambling he is jumping from the dining table onto the top of this cabinet/unit/whatever it's called. Watching him get down is funny, I'll have to try and video it

Wht do they go for the most difficult places?

Before he managed to get up there I've seen him looking and wanting to, and more than once I've lifted him up there but each time he needed help in getting back down, so I can't really blame him.
