Attention seeking
That's Dexter atm, he's been sat next to me for the past 15 minutes purring his head off and miaowing/pawing at me the second I stop stroking him. He's such a fabulous little cat I don't mind one bit, but I just wish they were around more often next door to let him, and Jmmy, into the house.

Re: Attention seeking
Aaw poor Dexter, your probably the only person that gives him any attention. It such a shame the owners don't bother with them. Bet he's glad you are there for him though.
Re: Attention seeking
Ditto what Lynn said, he's loving the attention by the sound of it.

Re: Attention seeking
He's here again now, doing the same thing
He only gets the odd treat and has the occasional munch on the dry, so it's not as tho' he calls because he gets fed regularly here. I suppose there's one good thing about it, Debbie will more or less always know where he and Jimmy are if they're not in at home.
Out of all the cats who have made a habit of calling here, and mine with the exception of Beckett tbh, Dexter is my fav as he's so undemanding, non destructive and playful. He's just a lovely natured cat

Re: Attention seeking
He was at it again just now, after staying here last night.........again.
Debbie has a dog which I think spends the night in their kitchen and probably has free run of the house during the day, so fitting a flap for Dexter and Jimmy would make sense as no strange cat would go back in after meeting the dog once.

Re: Attention seeking
He's just been at it again.
Sat next to me on the end of the bed miaowing and pawing at my arm for attention/head rubs, when that didn't work he went behind me, stood on his hind legs and started doing pushy-paws on my shoulder/back of my neck. How is anyone supposed to ignore that? I certainly couldn't anyway, a good head and belly rub later, he's now curled up asleep
