Sophie's appetite is humungous

I can't believe her right now, she's eating everything clean in, well she would if I let her. Now I'm presuming it's the steroids she's on but this time, it's really kicked in trying to balance giving her enough but also thinking about her weight is really hard, at this rate the weight she had lost will be right back on again.
Oh an she doesn't give in either, miaowing and peenging all day.

A tricky one Kath, she needs the steroids but at the cost of increased appetite and possible weight gain. Which is more important?

Right this very minute, peace and quiet so she's being fed til it comes out her ears, well not quite, but she's getting more of those little tins of chicken and ham, not carbs, so shouldn't really affect her weight too much.

It *shouldn't* but what's the betting she soon gets fed up of them?

YOu're not wrong there she's started turning her nose up at them, but then hunger kicks in and she does eat them.

I think the diet is working not sure how much she's lost but she's definately lost. Now I have to work out how to maintain this weightg and not have her lose any more. She's a amall *cobby* shaped cat, so will always look chunky and not svelte and I don't want that tbh, she's cute and healthy, what more do |can we ask.
Switching her onto wet has made a difference, she's just mega fussy on what wet she'll eat and if I'm honest she would still prefer the dry food.

Are you weighing her, or is she just breathing in to fool you?

Just carry on as you are if it's working, but I know how much I'd struggle to deprive my lot of food they preferred.

I haven't weighed her do you think she's pulling a fast one?

It's been tough going I can assure you and at times I've given in, but she's doing fine, still tries to pull a fast one, but her fav food right now apart from the dry is feline Fayre, Simply Tuna and Salmoan and it stinks to high heaven, I always feel like gagging when I open it.
