I hope the spider was *flat* when you put it outside Gilly, it's the best way of making sure they don't come back in.

Nope Ian, it was big and leggy still I took it outside to the opposite side of the courtyard near some shrubs and told it to go courting elsewhere

There are limits to what good mommies can allow. That "pet" wouldn't be welcome in my house either. Good of you to find a peaceful release for this little friend.
