*Drumming* at 1am (and more)
Fudge was dead to the world in her box next to my pillows when I went to bed at midnight but I didn't get much sleep
She woke me at 1am by having a prolonged scratch with her leg beating out a regular 140bpm a minute rhythm on the box, and it was loud She then got up for a drink but instead of heading back to the box she decided to perch on my ribs for a bout of pushy paws, that and her suprisingly loud purr stopped me getting back to sleep. She got down at 1.30 and went back into her box.
2am came...........and so did Bola, soaked to the skin.........and he was dead set on my having a playfight with him
2.30am, Max came upstairs and woke me by clambering all over the bed.
All this woke Fudge who set off on another round of scratching/drumming so I was still awake at 3am.
Needless to say they were all curled up asleep when I got up today.

Re: *Drumming* at 1am (and more)
A reasonable nights sleep, enough for me to wake late anyway, tho' I was disturbed by Fudge clambering onto my chest and going to sleep which meant I slept on my back (not good for me) as I didn't want to disturb her. On the plus side, Dexter slept on my bed and my not moving about meant there was no toe hunting from him

She was at it again last night, I woke up *with a wt# is going on?* because of the noise. The box had moved and was resting against the metal bedstead so it sounded like someone hitting a drainpipe with a hammer as fast as they could

you need earplugs. But then the vibrations would wake you.
