Oh for craps sake! (literally!) LOL
Right! Everytime Bramble has been for a poo for the past two days, she's got poo all down her pantaloons and has been a nightmare to chase down! LOL! Running behind the sofa, bed, etc. and we've had to hunt her down, clean her up, then find all the presents on the carpet etc.! ARGH! She normally comes straight up to us and lets us pick her up, but OMG she just knows when we want to clean her and we can't catch her for love nor money! LOL!

Sounds like Teddy used to be, is she a long haired cat? it's unusual for a short hair to get mucky, and the fact she's running away, is probably cos her legs sore and she doesn't want it touched. Yes, it's it one of the nicer sides of cats. LOL

She's not really long haired, but her fur is longer than Mads', its lovely and plush, you can bury your hand in it, but she's not long haired... can you medium hair? LOL
I think its prob due to the fact that she poos up on her hind legs like a meercat on patrol! LOL! Honestly its so funny! And when its runny, it just flows stright down her legs.... bleugghh (think its the painkillers making it runny).Whats not so funny is its hurting her leg to stand up on them like that, yet will she squat down and poo like a normal cat? No, will she heck! LOL

ROFL! Oh it's not funny having to chase poop-bum around the house... but the image of her going to the loo whilst on "meerkat patrol" is hilarious! lol!maddymoo wrote:I think its prob due to the fact that she poos up on her hind legs like a meercat on patrol!
BG also does the meerkat one now and then... front legs placed on the edge of the litterbox, lifiting her upperbody up as much as possible - and action! Either that or she doesn't really go far enough inside the tray (all legs gathered together, body arched as high as possible)... and poops outside the tray... *sigh*
Hope the little one will either lean to poop like a "normal" (anyone actually have a normal cat?) cat, or you'll be able to catch her before everythign is smeared...

Could it be that she doesn't like the feel of the litter on her botty, LOL well you never know with our precious little madams.
