Extra treats for Bola today

I was sat there in the living room in near silence last night (well the the tv was on but it was Wossy interviewing Michael MacIntire so the mute button was hit pretty sharpish) when I saw Bolas ears prick up and him going into stalking mode then move slowly towards the door. I was puzzled because I couldn't/hadn't heard a thing, but when he started growling I knew something was *wrong* so I got up to check.

I opened the door but couldn't see anything, then Bola, still growling, nipped upstairs and a few seconds later he chased the spraying black tom down the stairs Bola didn't attack, but he had this cat trapped in the hall with lots of "come and have a go if you think you're hard enough" miaows. I can't say the stranger was overly scared by Bolas posturing or even at seeing me tbh, as he dashed past us both and into the living room, closely followed by Bola.

I just had time to get my water spray from the litchen and managed to get him before the stranger headed for the flap, but of course, poor Bola got the wettest With a bit of luck, tho' I'm not holding my breath tbh, between us we have hopefully scared this cat enough to stop him calling for a few days at least.

He can only have been hunting for food, and he must have learned there's always dry food down in my bedroom (the last place I want him spraying) but thanks to Bola, he might think twice before going there again.

Yes... bad enough that the spraying one comes in the kitchen... certainly not a nice thign to think of that he might be in your bedroom... so fingers crossed your and Bolas effort has paid off, for a while atleast (he doesn't seem to give up this black tom).

Oh hero Bola, and the poor bugger got soaked for his troubles. I think he deseves extra portions of his favourite food.
