7 cats.......
.........in the house when I got up today
Dexter, Jimmy and Max were asleep on my bed, Buddy was sat next to the bed eyeing Jimmy (probably for breakfast) Bola was sprawled out on the landing, Fudge was in her box on the dining table and lastly, I found the black cat from across the road curled up on the dining room windowsill as I opened the curtains.
They all wanted feeding, but sorry lads, you'll have to wait a bit

Re: 7 cats.......
It wouldn't have been that many, but since Fudge has started to sleep in the box on my dining table at night, I've had to leave that door open, hence the cat from across the road being on the windowsill.Teddy wrote:7 ? OMG am speechless.
Jimmy isn't daft, he must have realised Fudge stays downstairs now so he's safe to come up to my bedroom and Dexter loves curling up next to my pillow at night............which I wouldn't mind so much if his purring wasn't so loud, oh, and Max's insistence on sleeping over my feet/ankles can be really annoying.

Re: 7 cats.......
The same 7 were present when I got up today, 6 in the kitchen and Fudge upstairs on the spare bed. Amazingly, considering how much Max and Buddy dislike the cat from across the road, there was no sign of them falling out

Re: 7 cats.......
Only one today, the black cat from across the road, happily fast asleep on top of the microwave when I got downstairs and I'm guessing he'd been there all night.
I was nearly up at stupid o'clock as one of them, and by the sound of it when they jumped off the bed and hit the floor it was Bola, had come in for a midnight snack and got a biscuit stuck in their throat Cue much coughing, but I heard the flap go before I could get up to check they were ok, thankfully no harm done, he turned up so must have managed to cough it up.

Re: 7 cats.......
The same 7 were waiting for me when I got downstairs at 5.45am today...........
Fudge was desperate to go out, usually a pretty good sign she'd been sick somewhere (she hadn't, not that I've found so far) but she refused to walk past those in the kitchen so I had to let her out of the front door.
Buddy was intent on stalking the cat from across the road, and as hungry as he was, stalking came first. All this piqued Bolas interest and he decided to join in so I had to keep them both away from him.
Thankfully Max ran upstairs, but not before starting to dig to Australia thro' the hall carpet.
Jimmy had slept on the microwave, but in his rush to see if food was on offer he knocked a couple of glasses over that had been left on the draining board.
Only Dexter behaved himself, he settled for tring to trip me up as I attempted to keep the peace between Max, Bola and the cat from over the road.
I didn't get back upstairs till 6.15

Good morning Ian
You can't say you start the day off quietly and work into it, it's all mad from the word go.

Re: 7 cats.......
Morning Kath,
The weather is pretty grim atm, so it was no surprise to find them all inside today. It's quiet now, mainly because Buddy has gone out (prompted by a toe up his ar#e from me) and hopefully the rain will calm him down a bit. Bola is asleep under the dining table, Max on my bed, Fudge came back in and dined alone upstairs anf if Jimmy and Dexter are still in, they're well hidden.
