Lap cat Bola
Right out of the blue this afternoon he jumped onto my lap and curled up to sleep, I can count on *one* finger the times he'd done this before My first thought was that he was ill, but no, he must have just felt like it.

Re: Lap cat Bola
That'd be more in character for him, beyond a bit of head butting when he's on a wheelie bin or windowsill he shows very, very little affection. I'm just here to feed and play at his request

Re: Lap cat Bola
Now that sounds like Moto and usually when he does show any affection it's because he wants food.

Re: Lap cat Bola
Sounds very much like Malo too. Affection from him consists of a headbutt when he wants either feeding or letting out. I think Malo sees humans' only purpose is to feed cats and allow them access to the outside/inside as per the cats wishes.

Re: Lap cat Bola
I was a bit unkind to Bola saying he doesn't show affection, he does but it's in his own way
Speaking of him, he's now found a new spot to sleep, one of those old fashioned and very rough coconut/coir doormats that's too thick to use for the front door

Moto loves to use our coir mat to sit on and to use as a scratching mat.

Re: Lap cat Bola
And here he is on said doormat, which just happens to be on top of the most unstable 3 legged table in the history of unstable-3-legged-tables The mat is way bigger than the table top so quite how he hasn't rolled over and fallen off Idon't knowIan B wrote: Speaking of him, he's now found a new spot to sleep, one of those old fashioned and very rough coconut/coir doormats that's too thick to use for the front door
