twiggy (Siamaideni love u love)
after a ver short illness i have lost my first siamese twiggy she was only 4yrs old
i came home on the wednesday to find a small pool of vomit (clear frothy stuff) and having 4 cats its a case of limination who has done it
well by wednesay night twiggy was in the cat bed in front the fire not wanting to move much so i started her on some synulox whic is a brood spectrum antibiotic and by morning she had seemed to pick up so i gave her a nother tablet and watched how she was went to work and came home at lucnch to find more sick but she was eating and playing and seemed happy so carried on with the anti b's and had a quick chat with the vet told him her temp with was normal and what was going on he said carry on with anti b's for 3 more days and see how she is if she gets worse bring her in all was fine wheni went to bed then next morning i went down to find her very litharjic and blood in her stools so off the vet to find out she had a hardened liver massivley enlarged kidneys and the bridge was close by so i asked the vet to do the right thing which he did. SO as a matter of curtsey i contacted her breeder to tel her what had happened to be met with well what have you been feeding her you've killed that cat !!!!
i was apaslutly devistated she was my baby and she had a very varied diet frim raw food to fresh cooked chicken and fish and some puches and james wellbeloved biscuit

Sorry to hear this Emma
We've all been there at some point and it's never easy, but you did the best for her.
As for the breeder if only every cat was fed as well.

Re: twiggy (Siamaideni love u love)
So sorry to hear your news. I know how hard it is, but it is always for the right reasons that we have to make that choice.
Certainly has nothing to do with what she was fed and I would say that you did everything you could for this lovely kitty. It is evident that you looked after her well and that she was loved. Ignore the breeder - was probably just on the defensive, not wanting the blame to come her way.
Take care, and take comfort from your other furry sweethearts.
Joanne

Emma, I'm so sorry you lost Twiggy, don't blame yourself, that breeder is heartless to say that to you, it is so sad.

So sorry to hear about Twiggy.
It's not your fault that she was sick, so don't blame yourself for that, these things happen.
As for the breeder, how could she possibly be so horrible, when you took in Twiggy and gave her love and everything she needed.
Take care.

Emma, so so sorry to hear you have lost Twiggy. Of course it was absolutely nothing you did and that breeder is beyond contempt for saying that.
She is at peace now at Rainbow Bridge. RIP sweet Twiggy. xx

Oh Emma (((HUGS))) So sorry to hear this about darling Twiggy Looking at what you have been feeding her I certainly doubt you were responsible IN ANY WAY - I think most of us give our cats a bit of everything Molly helped me eat my fish tonight
Ignore the breeder - she sounds like a really nasty person who isn't worth giving even a moment more's thought over
RIP Twiggy ~ run free at Rainbow Bridge beautiful girl
