Much too soft with them

I dozed off while sprawled out on the sofa last night and woke in a pretty uncomfortable position, not that Max was bothered, he'd somehow got comfy wedged between my back and the sofa and was fast asleep. Mug that I am, I stayed where I was for a while as I didn't want to disturb him

Black Tom used to do this regularly, so it's kinda nice to see another one doing the same.

oh they've well and truly got you where they want you but would we all be the same?

It's just Max who does it and he only started doing it recently. I've got to be careful he doesn't do pushy-paws on my neck or face, he might be just showing how happy he is but I can do without that.

Oh definately, Sophie did that on my lap last night, sheesh, it's not funny.

Not only does Max give very painful pushy paws, he's now taken a liking to my beard and grooms me every chance he gets

Now that has enlightened me somewhat. Not knowing what you look like Ian, I imagined you to have a moustache like Asterix (avatar) but didn't think for one minute that you had a beard. It is quite some acceptance and honour to be groomed in that way by a cat. Does Max combine the beard grooming with pushy paws? Malo combines hand sucking with pushy paws, but happily his claws aren't too sharp. When it is Bonnie, I have to put a stop to it as her claws are like rasors.

I used to have just a goatee, tho' that was of no interest to Max, but since growing a full face beard it's another story He's even licked my nose Grooming and pushy paws together? It's happened tho' not often so far.

I learned something today that'll stay with me for life..............don't let a cat lick your nose just after it's been eating dry food

thankfully that hasn't happened with me, but Sophie does have a habit of yawning when she's very close, and that's close enough.
