Re: *Missing* visitors
He appeared out of nowhere, had breakfast and disappeared just as quickly. He isn't a noisy cat, except when waiting for food, but even that's gone now, he just sat there without making a sound.

Re: *Missing* visitors
I've just found him sprawled out on the landing, but this time he followed me downstairs and is now tucking into a bowl of Aninmoda Multi-meat cocktail flavour (I don't know what's in it, but it smells bloody good)
He had a major hissy fit when Bola approached the bowl, so I guess he's feeling a bit better now, at least I hope so.

I don't know Kath, I'll bet it tastes better than some of the Somerfield own brand cooked meats I've bought
Oh, and Ginger was waiting for breakfast when I got up at 6 am today.

LOL! I got some Gourmet perle yesterday and gave Mads a pouch as a treat (I know she's meant to stay on the CD food, but every now and then I like to give her something nice), and it was a bit of an anomaliy (?sp) one that I opened in that it was all gravey! With just a couple bits of meat! Mads loooooved it! LOL!
Bless the big ginger lad! 'feed me now please!' LOL

Re: *Missing* visitors
I've not seen Bolas black friend with the bushy tail from across the road *anywhere* for the best part of 2 weeks now. I hope he's ok and his owner hasn't lost yet another cat, not so soon after she found one dead in her garden, but if a cat was going to come to harm, it'd be this one. He wanders miles and has zero road sense, I've lost count of the times I've cringed watching him dash over the road to get home when cars are approaching. I'll have to ask the next time I see her.

Re: *Missing* visitors
I'm pleased to say he turned up earlier this afternoon. I heard the flap go but when no cat appeared I got up to check, got into the kitchen just in time to see him leaving, but when I opened the door he miaowed and came right up to me. I wonder if he's been lost and has just found his way back home? I *thought* I'd seen him a few days ago, about half a mile away, but as distinctive as his tail and large ears are, I couldn't be sure.Ian B wrote:I've not seen Bolas black friend with the bushy tail from across the road *anywhere* for the best part of 2 weeks now. Re: *Missing* visitors
He got his revenge earlier this afternoon. He was sat at the side of my house when Fudge came dashing round the corner, I don't know if she was spoiling for a fight but he was taking no chances and got in first and whacked her across the face. I thought for one horrible minute he'd clawed her eye, but thankfully she was ok after a bout of rapid blinking.maddymoo wrote:As a female, she's entitled to change her mind! lol

Re: *Missing* visitors
While I'm here............
I've not seen much of stripey tailed tom lately, but he invited himself in around 4.15pm. While it's still mild I leave the living room door open so I can see who comes in when I'm lay on the sofa. I heard the flap go then saw him peeping at me, he usually runs when he spots me, but not today, he headed for the stairs He didn't run when I shouted at him either and only trotted off when I stood up and was sat by the flap when I got into the kitchen. I got within a couple of feet before he dived thro' it.
He's either getting braver or he's that hungry he'll risk meeting/seeing me to get at the dry food upstairs.

Re: *Missing* visitors
Bolas and his black friend were hanging out together again late last night and I'm pretty sure Bola invited him in in the early hours as a bit of a commotion woke myself, Fudge and Buddy. Then I heard a strange miaow and Buddy jumped off my bed to investigate so it looks like it was Bolas friend. I'd shut all the doors, barring my bedroom, yet the spare bedroom and dining room doors were open this morning, so perhaps he stayed the night. The weather was awful, so I couldn't blame him if he did tbh.
