?Sore Eye?
Yesterday Bramble kept on closing her left eye and washing it etc. we had a look and it looked like she had 'fluff' in it, but as was still playing and eating and continuing to try and wash it herself we left it. However she is still doing it today and keeps closing it entirely and walking around one-eyed! As soon as she see's I'm watching, she opens it again, but not fully and there is a little 'sleep' in the corner. I have a mini eye wash kit somewhere, so I could try and irrigate it for her and see if that helps, but she's such an easy to upset jumpy cat, that she would find it traumatic. I may try it anyway tho (but may wait until later on when there's two of us! lol), or maybe the vets? but as she's happy otherwise I wonder if it warrents a trip, I could leave it til tomorrow and if she's still squinting it, its vet time! My poor lamb.

Re: ?Sore Eye?
Poor baby!!! Wiching you and the little one the best of luck at the vets, and hopefully the drops (I'm assuming that that's what they'll give her) will work it's trick.
Re: ?Sore Eye?
Ahhhh crapsticks... when the vet moved her eye to see the white, it was very red and ugly looking, and she is running a fever. So she got antibiotic injection and something else that was prob painkillers (I prob should have asked). He also asked if there's any other cats in the house, so I told him about Mads' runny nose and that she'd been sneezing after they came out the cattery, and after listening to a Boo's chest, he said it sounds like they could both have upper respiratory infections and they'll continue to infect each other unless both are treat, so the nice vet gave me enough anti-biotic tables for both of them. Oh and I have some drops (which are more like cream) to put in Bramble's eye twice a day... oh the joys! Two poorly girls! Boo is now going sleepys on the rug after an evil mum put cream in her eye (she didn't like that!).

Re: ?Sore Eye?
Oh no... both babies not feeling too well... Here's hoping the antibiotics will take care of it in a jiffy, and you'll have to healthy little princesses again!
Re: ?Sore Eye?
Thats the thing tho! Other than Boo being little miss blinky and Moo having a wet nose.... they are both being playful, nutsy and eating well! Oh they know how to hide things! I'm sure they'll both be absolutely fine.

How the heck did I miss it! LOL. I wonder that if I had just taken Moo to the vets straight away when she was sneezing, they'd both be fine now. *slaps own wrist* They'll be fine. Boo keeps shouting every time I go near her now, as it was me that put her in the carrier and took her to the evil vet then put stingy cream in her eye! She'll get over it tho.
