Lovely affordable cat basket!
Quite a few of the shops around this area that used to be Au Natural has turned into a B&M (a home store, similar to Pound Stretcher/In Store)... and we went to one of them before we went up to the house... and they had lovely pet basket... and so cheap!
We got one in the smallest size, to bring up to the house for BG. She likes to sleep on the bathroom counter, and until now she's been sleeping on a towel we put there for her. So, we thought that the basket was ideal size for her. It cost... *drumroll* £3.99! Yes, that's with the cosy inlay. The have them in two other sizes too, one a bit bigger for £5.99 and a quite large one for £8-9 (can't remember, I was too excited about the little one for BG).
And she loves it! She slept in it all night, and for many many hours during the day. Pok didn't show much interest in it (he stuck his front paws in it and did some pushies, but then left)... until my partner spotted him all curled up! lol! Sadly I missed it, but he took a piccie.

It's lovely! I have a similar one which is kept on top of my wardrobe. Percy loves sleeping up there, the buffoon!

The basket looks nice and cosy. BG and Pok look happy resting in it. Buddy would like one of those but we don't have a B&M near us.
Re: Lovely affordable cat basket!
They look super cosy in that! Princey would need a Giganticus-Maximus sized one - he's used to sleeping in a big dog cage dont you know.

Well... with Pok being a little sneaky sod and "stealing" BGs basket, we went to B&M and bought two of their baskets. One little one for BG so she can have a new basket in our bedroom. And a bigger one for Pok which we'll bring up to the house... Pok has however moved from BGs basket into his own new one which is currently placed in the hallway.

There used to be an Au Natural shop in Eldon Square - just before you go over the glass-sided bridge into another section (sure you know where I mean, it was near Top Shop) and there's one in the MetroCentre....though whether that one has been changed into a B&M I don't know as it's been months since we were last there as we couldn't leave dogs on their own.
It's certainly one hell of a bargain though.....I wouldn't mind one of those myself!!!

The biggest ones (£7.99) would be perfect for your girl (I think... lol!). The mdium one is spot on for Pok (he's massive), and the little one is a tiny bit snug for BG, but she likes to curl up, so she's a happy kitty!Gilly wrote:maddymoo wrote:Bargainous!
