Jimmy is (was) missing..........
.......I thought it funny that I'd not seen him for at least 24 hours, probably over 48 tbh, even tho' my neighbours hadn't asked if I'd seen him lately.
Anyhow, I was in the spare bedroom when I heard a miaow, the sort of sound a cat makes when it's scared of something, and as it sounded like Bola I dashed downstairs to see what was wrong. Nothing as it turned out, he was outside and there *wasn't* a cat in the house
I thought I was hearing things and went back upstairs, only to hear it again, but couldn't for the life of me work out where it was coming from. I had a good look round, under my bed, everywhere I could think of till I thought of checking the wardrobe in the spare bedroom, and there he was I can't remember going in there for anything this week, but obviously I must have done for him to get in. I wouldn't mind but Max had slept on the spare bed for the biggest part of yesterday and I'd called in a few times to play with him, but Jimmy never made a sound then.
While he was there, he'd dragged a black denim and a black moleskin jacket off their hangers and slept on them, both are absolutely covered in white cat hair............I'd be mad if it all wasn't so (he said still having to clean the coats) but I guess I should be grateful he'd been without water and so hadn't peed on them.
The look on his face as he came blinking into the sunlight after being in the dark for god knows how long was priceless, tho' once he'd got his bearings it was a mad dash to the flap and freedom.

That is priceless. Wish you could have captured his wee blinking disorientated face. He must have been so thirsty and hungry!

Yeah, a pic of his face would have been good, but a pic of mine when I saw just what a mess he'd made of the moleskin jacket would have been better, here it is oh, and look at the bloody creases as well
I've had to use so much sticky tape to get *most* the hairs off the finish on the coat has virtually gone, I'm undecided on whether to just throw it away atm

oh cracking up here. Sorry Ian, it's not funny, all my black clothes look like that (without the creases) when ever Sophie goes into the wardrobe, it used to be Teddy that was the culprit, but Sophie is as bad.

He's really pushing his luck now
Not satisfied with ruining a coat, he's just sneaked in and dragged 200g of loose beef spread out of my shopping bag, luckily I saw him before he had chance to open the bag it was in.
