7am showdown

I don't know who with, but Bola is presently having a proper fight with another cat

I heard some yowling in next doors garden, had a quick look out of my bedroom window but couldn't see much except Jimmy sat on their shed roof and Dexter sat on the fence watching *something* going on. I nipped downstairs just in time to hear the fight moving to the front of my neighbours house, so dashed round, just in time to see Bola stalking a strange cat at the side of the next house down.

Jimmy and Dexter then appeared, closely followed by Fudge who had been sat on the living room windowsill and trotting up behind her came Max Between them they were making enough noise to wake the entire estate..................then it all went quiet.

This is so unlike Bola I'm genuinely at him fighting like this and I'll be off out again soon to see if I can find him to make sure he's ok.

He's ok thankfully, now all I've got to do is find Fudge, I could tell by the way she dashed down she was looking for a fight and she even ignored Jimmy

Fudge has just returned, fur all *puffed up* and in a foul mood, so it looks like she got her fight

A closer look at Bola showed some dried blood on his back, nothing major injury wise, but I guess he got more than he bargained for in picking a fight with this cat. It's only the second time he's shown any aggression towards another cat, normally all he does is run up to say hello to any stranger he sees.

Could be that the other cat was the aggressive one and when Bola ran up to it all hell broke loose and Bola had to get stuck in.

I don't think so Kath, Bola was the one doing all the chasing, the other cat was just trying to get away and must have had no choice but to turn and fight.

little bully. Must be something about that cat that Bola doesn't like then. Moto isn't an aggressive cat either but there are two cats that he will not let near our garden, one's a small black cat and the other is a beautiful siamese, Moto goes ballistic whenever they are near.

Lol, yeah, Mads has her nemisis too. When we lived in N.Shields tho, she rather cruely would pick on this lovely little kitten... lol

Barring that he likes to play rough, Bola is such a good natured cat where others are concerned, all he wants to do is wrestle with them. I didn't get a good look at the other cat so don't know if I've seen it before, probably not with the way Bola reacted.
