Lovely present not
Came home tonight walked into the livingroom and there lying on the floor with his little legs sticking up in the air was a sparrow. Turned round to get a tissue to pick it up and the sofa was covered with feathers, this poor toot must have put up some fight. Sophie needless to say was sitting looking so smug.

Re: Lovely present not
Your lucky your present was dead.
When I went into my desk drawer this morning there was a mouse sitting in it chewing on my receipts, I screamed for Mark to come down, by this time mousie had gone down the back of my desk (back was hanging off). It took three of us 5 hours to catch the bloody thing, after moving most of the stuff to the kitchen.
We did (think) we had caught it several times, but it kept escaping. We eventually trapped it (again) behind a cabinet. and relesed it outside.
Mary did catch it a few times but when Mark approached her she dropped it, Buddy just sat and watched it.
Not what I expected to do today, a total day ruined because of a bloody mouse.
Anyone want a couple of useless cats.

oh that made me laugh at loud, I would have died. Yip pretty uuseless they are, thing is they don't need fed, so anything they catch is just a toy.

Re: Lovely present not
loving the mouse story!! And poor sparrow. Sometimes I'm glad Isis doesn't go out and bring me presents back. My presents from her of late has been a pile of cat sick on the bathroom floor - niiiiiiiiiiiice!
Re: Lovely present not
I thought my heart was going to come out. Bloody scary to see that at 8.30 am. They always seem to end up in my drawers/boxes.
That's 5 this year we have had to "hunt" ourselves, I think Buddy was enjoying watching us try to catch it and silently laughing to him self.
