nasty
For the past few days Buddy has been really nasty to Mary. Whenever she goes near him he is hissing at her and looking for a fight which she doesn't want. Afew days earlier he got into a fight, with another cat, he came home with a bloody ear, so if he has anymore injuries, which I can't see this could be why he is lashing out. Had to practically seperate them this morning, after Buddy jumped on the bed and Mary was already there.
I've just seen them both outback and Buddy seems to be Bullying Mary.
I don't like seeing him like this.

Re: nasty
Hi Lynn,
If possible, it might be a good idea to keep them apart for a while. The fight Buddy had may be the reason he's lashing out at Mary, hopefully once he's got it out of his system things will get back to normal.

Re: nasty
Hi Ian,
They generally get on well and have there own space. He has been acting a bit weird these past few days and being a bit "cold" towards us aswell. Whether he is depressed or upset about something I don't know, just hope that whatever is bothering him will pass.

Ih he's acting funny with you as well, as you said, it may be he has a injury from the fight you haven't seen yet and it's bothering him. A trip to the vet might be in order if this behaviour carries on.

Re: nasty
I have to concur with Ian. When Malo reacts just like your Buddy seems to be doing, it is usually because he has an injury somewhere. Sometimes it heals of its own accord but if his mood continues we get him to the vets and invariably a well hidden sore is discovered. In the end though, we get our usual Malo back (although our usual Malo is a bit of an independent blighter anyway).

Re: nasty
I think normal service has resumed as both are lying on the bed(not together though) so just hoping he was having a few off days.
