How true is that!
I dont actually think Ive ever been REALLY mad with Prince (or my old cat Pebbles), yes they get on our nerves, and make me "crabbit" (scottish word for bad tempered!), but boy would life be empty/dull without them.

Re: Hello from the South Woods
I have a lot of excuses, but none are worth posting.
It has been a while since I was here. I've been on the web, most regularly, but I have gone through rebuilds of 4 computers, updates and such, getting M'Lady set up and on the web with her own PC. Distractions always make for mistakes and losses of information. Add the fact the old bran cells are slow and forgetfulness runs rampant, This place went the way of 'OOPS' as did 6 other places. Just found the backup files and finished downloading the missing links and goodies.
We've many new pictures and stories to share, if only I can get myself back in the routine of posting where I'm supposed to post.
Hope everyone is still around, all is well, the kits are fat and happy, and you'll forgive my absence.
The Mouskateers and I will be back when we update our brains on what's the routine here.
Take care.
I'll be back .....

Re: Hello from the South Woods
Thanks for the welcome backs.
Would you believe I'm just up and about. Sunday (almost noon) here, and we are NOT going out in the heat. Cats are already down for their morning/afternoon nap, and I'm considering going back to the feathers with them.
More later .....

Re: Hello from the South Woods
Thanks for the RE-welcomes! ?? I finally got it together and am doing the picture thing at https://love4cats.darkbb.com/kitty-poses-f8/buddy-bear-and-the-mouskateers-of-five-oaks-manor-t3460.htm#43329
I'm back again!
After a bit of distraction, a visit to the hospital (I'm on my feet and at home, just continuing to march), and a bit of a fight with an elder Computer, I am back up and functional. Fueled by an additional half dozen or more 'pills' and monthly poking and probing by a doctor, I carry on with the cats.
Weather in the SouthWoods is proclaiming "Fall is here, Winter is nigh!". Beginning to be soggy, fog rolled in last night big time, and at 5 past 7 in the AM, it's dismal smelling of more rain to come. I can proudly profess to have NO thought of having to shovel snow yet. Hopefully we'll not be bothered by that this year, yet with the weather changes we've seen the past couple years I can't say I would be surprised to have a few white days come next January or February.
Enough of the weather. I am rattling around the web this morning ..... have been all night for that matter ..... and am finding the gossip and chatter thin to nil. Not sure what the reason, but I'll keep looking. Lots to read, lots of 'new' places to visit. However, with the Gremlins and Hackers and other 'bad boys' floating around the ether net, I have been a bit picky as to what I will dive into. I've noticed on more than a few of the, to me, new forums I've found a great bit of 'bashing' and forum fighting. Don't need none of that, no thankyouverrymuch! So we are here, and will be content.
Have to get back to the Blogspot, and also to the Web Site, clean things up on the Site, and resume postings on the Blog. Lots to talk about, a good many pictures to post, so I'll be busy during the cold of winter. Not up to driving much anymore ..... just the necessary grocery trips. That's enough for this old Redneck.
I've had my say. Now I'll go for my mug of Earl Gray, and a few of M'Lady's Snickerdoodles. Oh, and of course the morning pills.
Everyone have a great weekend, and come when you can.

Re: Hello from the South Woods
Starting a new week with all kitties purring right along ..... actually they are all sound asleep, all curled on or around their Mummy! And she, of course, has not stirred since they piled on last night (or rather early this morning).
Hope all and everyone has/had a great day and all the critters are well fed and scritched.
Be careful out there. I may come driving by, and I wouldn't want my Stratus scratched and dinged up. I miss the old Continental, but I am slowly getting to love the newer Dodge. It's at least cheaper to run, and run, and run ......
Cats say "Meowr".

Re: Hello from the South Woods
Hi Roy
Good to see you again, sorry about the poking and prodding, hope that's behind you for a while at least. We're very quiet here (as usual lol) but the thing is, we are still here, so must be doing something right. Just come and go as you please.
