Re: Fudge, more progress
She stayed in most of yesterday, granted on the spare bedroom windowsill for 90% of the time, but she even came into the living room late last night to join Buddy, Max and myself on the sofa

Re: Fudge, more progress
I left her sat on next doors shed roof when I went to bed last night and it looks like she was there all night as she's covered in dew atm.............and refusing to come down even after my waving a bowl of her fav food under her nose I *could* give it to her there as I can reach, but I'm not starting that sort of silliness, she can have it in the garden or come in the house for it.
'EDIT'
I weakened and she's now having brekkie on the shed roof but it won't happen again.

We have all ben there - who can resist a cat's persistence? That is exactly the reason why Bonnie's diet is not going to plan - I weaken daily.

Re: Fudge, more progress
She came down off the shed roof and into my garden long enough for me to grab and bring her inside 15 or so minutes ago, tho' she didn't stay long, a few biscuits and I heard her trotting back downstairs. The weather forecast is foul for tonight so it's up to her, come in and stay dry and warm or stay out, I'm not chasing her all over the place.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if she stayed out.

Re: Fudge, more progress
Hunger and the heavy rain forced her to come in at 2am when she announced her arrival by shaking the rain off on my bed and waking me She wasn't bothered at finding Max and Dexter already asleep there as she tucked into the dry food, but then spent the rest of the night on the landing windowsill.Teddy wrote:Wouldn't surprise me one bit if she stayed out.
She was still there when I got up today, but came downstairs soon after to *swap* places with Jimmy who'd sneaked in and slept on the microwave. I heard a bit of fuss in the kitchen so nipped back down expecting to have to rescue Jimmy, but no, she was curled up on the microwave while he was finishing Bola and Buddy's breakfasts
'EDIT'
She seems very taken with sleeping on top of the microwave, I don't know it it's just to spite Jimmy as that's his fav spot, or because it's near the flap.

Re: Fudge, more progress
Funny that cos our micro is beside the flap too and Sophie likes sleeping there. maybe it's because they have a good vantage point.
