Talk on cat behaviour: Know your cat
Just had this info in an e-mail... it's in Surrey, so if you know anyone who might be interested in the area - spread the word!
Kitten to Cat is hosting an evening of talks on cat behaviour by Francesca
Riccomini - renowned feline behaviourist, experienced veterinary surgeon and
author of the new book "Know Your Cat".
Cats can seem mysterious. They sleep most of the day, are fiercely
independent and yet can be playful and affectionate. By the end of the night
you can expect to have unlocked the mysteries of your cat's behaviour. Learn
how to read their expressions, tail flicks, purrs, hisses and meows.
Understand why cats groom themselves, rub your leg and adore catnip. Solve
anti-social behaviour, such as clawing armchairs, spraying, running up
curtains and drinking from the toilet. All of these secrets and more are
revealed, along with features on the latest feline research and behavioural
science.
The evening will be held at St Luke's House opposite the clinic and will
start at 7.00pm with refreshments. Francesca will begin speaking at 7.30pm.
We plan to finish around 9.30pm.
Admission is free.
Places are limited so please contact the clinic by Tuesday 28th October to
confirm your place. You can RSVP:
- by email: info@kittentocat.com
- by phone: 020 8940 0014
- or if you are on Facebook follow this link:

Friends and family are welcome and, if they come early, can have a tour of
the clinic. If you are bringing guests please mention this in the RSVP.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Kind Regards

Re: Talk on cat behaviour: Know your cat
AWww not fair!!!!! *stamps foot*
My local cat club used to do really good evening meetings once a month on various subjects - health, cats in history, showing, cats in art etc - and they were really good. It was brilliant actually being able to meet other cat nuts and 'talk cat' without anyone thinking you were 'weird' or obsessed
Unfortunately the indoor meetings were badly attended by members so were reduced to save costs so now they only have two or three meetings a year - usually in members' homes rather than a hired hall They still run coaches to the Supreme & Glasgow - two shows that I went to with them
