Maddy ill..
Its came on very suddenly around midnight, she went to her tray and her body was rippling with the effort (in poo position, not pee position, otherwise I would say its her FUS), but to no avail, she now keeps on crying and dropping down to lick her bum, and she's pacing uncomfortable letting out the odd wail. Oh she is not well one bit. Hopefully she'll calm down and settle in with us tonight and if still like this tomorrow we'll have to take her to the vets.

Poor Mads, it sounds like a blockage, she may well need the vet, let us know (when you can) the outcome.

Re: Maddy ill..
She seems so much better today. She slept soundly most the day, then insisted on going out and whilst not herself she seems so much more comfortable, so I'm hoping she went when outside as she's very good at letting us know if she's in pain (she wails and cries at her dad). Still, with this and the sickness she had not so long ago, there is certainly something not right, so we are going to take her for a checkover tomorrow.
In fact she's just done a 'Mad Moey' run, jump, howl then chase the Boo! lol

Re: Maddy ill..
Glad to hear she seems a little better today, but wise move to take her to the vet anyway Helen. Keep us up to scratch with the laxative progression!
(we seem to talk a lot about poo here dont we, whether its us or our kitties)

Re: Maddy ill..
Let's hope the laxatives sort her out (they certainly work for me!). Poor Mads, it must be awful watching her in such discomfort. Fingers crossed she recovers this evening.

Re: Maddy ill..
Laxatives worked! Our big girl had a big smelly bum! (have had to clean the stairs where she's wiped it! LOL)
She's eating and drinking, going outside chasing her sister, stealing her sisters food and being a Moo in general. She's comfy all relaxed on the back of the sofa now, surveying her livingroom. Apart from being slightly sluggish, we think she's back to herself, so are going to leave the vets for now, rather than stress her out.

So happy to hear the lovely Moo is back to herself again, even if it included yuckies smeared over the stairs... lol!
