More free raw meat bits
I can't recall which thread it was, but I mentioned getting a bag of raw meat bits from my local butchers last week, which went down very well with my lot. Anyhow, I asked again today and got a even bigger bag this time, and just as last time, they were free
Ok, some of it is very fatty, but for weekend treats it's great.

Re: More free raw meat bits
Hi Kath,
Bola has got jaw ache after eating some extra chewy bits, but he wouldn't let me take them off him
I guess all local/small butchers end up with bits they can't do anything with and just throw them away, at least by giving them to me they aren't wasted. I can't see supermarket butchers being able to do the same, but if you/anyone has a small butchers it might be worthwhile asking.

Re: More free raw meat bits
We, for convenience, shop at Asda, we do go to the butcher in Stonahven but not regularly, it's so much easier to drive into a supermarket. I think I've cracked it though with their eating, well Sophie was never any bother, but Moto, well you've read the stories. But now, giving them both expensive dry food, and the occasional wet pouch, he seems so much happier, no constant begging and crying. It seems more expensive but in the long run it's not, as we're not throwing any food out.
