Late night panic
I heard a cat choking upstairs at just gone midnight so nipped up to see who, just in time to see Bola Bola dashing downstairs, all wide eyed and still choking, heading for the flap He'd gone by the time I'd got into the kitchen so I went looking for him. No sign, but more worryingly, no sound either, if he was still choking he was well away from my house.
I couldn't go to bed without finding him and spent the next hour outside looking and calling. I'd gone to the front gate again and was just about to give up when he leapt up onto the fence wanting headbutts I've no idea what he was choking on, but I hope it was only a moth or a daddy long legs that he'd eaten and had gone down the wrong way, maybe he'll learn a lesson if it was, but I doubt it

What a worry! Its the most awful sound isn't it! Boo sometimes chokes on her food as she gets too excited and eats too quickly and it can be quite frightening, so I'm so glad he turned up and way ok... those daddy long legs can be tricky!

Yeah, it's a horrible sound, but I think if he'd really been choking the last thing on his mind would have been getting away from me..............at least I hope so.maddymoo wrote:What a worry!
