Teddy in the pen
You know that feeling when you think you're doing good only for you to fall flat on your face. Well, that was me yesterday. Went home last night and for once the harr hadn't come in to our coastline, so made tea and was sitting eating it when Ted decided to be a right pain. So I put him out into the playpen, just so we could have some peace and he could be outside. The little bugger wasn't happy with that though, oh no, once the novelty had worn off, he climbed up to the highest spot in the pen and SQUEALED. What a bloody noise. Teddy boy wanted out and he let the whole village know about it. LOL Wouldn't be so bad if he could miaow properly, but he sounds like someone is torturing him. Needless to say I took him back in.

He's not that daft then Kath.
I wonder if deaf cats are the same as deaf people, in that they don't realise how loud they are talking at times because of their deafness?

I think so Ian, but he's a *loud* cat anyway, even when he's running back and fore, he sounds noisy, Moto and Sophie can sneak up on you but not Ted, you hear him coming a mile off. Bless him, oh he's so disadvantaged.

LOL! Oh my... the rumours and chinese whispers will be going round the village now, and Teds squeels will have turned into you holding a mad fetish torture centre and disguising it as a cat pen! LOL!

Re: Teddy in the pen
When we came back from stonehaven tonight I let Teddy wander around the garden ON HIS OWN, oh god, not a good idea when you just want to sit and relax. Well he was in amongst everything, and he has a facsination with rabbits, kept going back to them. But then he wasn't satisfied with that,oh no, Ted being Ted, he wanted to go further, almost leapt onto the adjoining wall ( very high) and he would have been in my neighbours garden. But he was so happy having a brouwe, no doubt he'll be a complete pain tomorrow and want out more. Unfortunately he won't be able to use the playpen as our new little stray will need it. (have to build another one LOL)
