No matter how much my lot *tell me* they're hungry in a morning, they never finish off a full pouch each, so the penny finally dropped for me to only give them 1/2 a pouch each which seems be better, tho' Bola, Fudge and Max still insist on leaving a bit.

Stripey Tail, when he's here for brekkie, comes in handy as he'll eat a full bowl then demolish the bits the others have left, before his arrival I ended up throwing a lot of food away. It's my own fault I guess for leaving bowls of dry down all day for them to snack on, but it's still a pita.

I've done this too Ian, Moto did exactly the same thing, would eat some and leave the rest, so now he gets half, he still doesn't eat it all in one sitting, he has to go out to pee then comes back and finishes it. The second half he gets during the morning or at lunchtime, I've found when I do this there is less waste. Also I don't leave dry food out all the time noew either, as he would fill up on that and still expect wet food, which got wasted.

I'd do the same with dry, but both Fudge and Max are nibblers and 9/10th's of their diet is biscuits. They'll eat wet, but given the choice it comes a poor second to dry.

Well I do this tio try and stopp Sophie form nibbling inbetween meals too. She has to lose somw weight and so far it's not working and having Motos dry left out was too much of a temptation for her. Poor Moto now has to diet too, whether he likes it or not.
