Too wet, even for Stripey last night

He came in totally drenched and asked for food then went straight back out as usual, tho' as he won't use the new flap I had to open the door for him. Out he trotted into the still pouring rain, stopped and looked at me then miaowed as if to say, "Nope, this is too wet for me" but instead of coming back into the house as I expected, he made a beeline for the shed.

Not proof positive that having a real home is strange to him, but it certainly looked that way to me.

Sounds like he's more comfortable outside but secure in the shed. This rain is ridiculous now, the cats have stopped going out, yes even Sophie is fed up being derenched. The rabbits hutches have to be covered with polythene so they can't see out properly, the chicken stay in the coop, all in all it's bloody miserable and it's still raining.........................

Yeah, that's most llikely it. He does sleep in the house now and again, but only on the dining table now

He can see all round on the table, nothing can sneak up on him.

I forgot to say that I saw him the best part 1/2 a mile away from my house yesterday, very nearly on the main shopping street here. I wasn't sure it was him at first but he came bounding down a cobbled road to me when he saw me after I'd called him. He cetainly gets about
