Vegetarian cat food????????

It was only a matter of time I suppose, but it's a bloody stupid idea that some idiots will no doubt think will be good for their cats A member at the *other place* found it their local whole food shop and posted about it.

I can see there'd be a need in cases of food allergies, but they'd have to be pretty extreme to warrant feeding vegetarian food.

Oh what a load of cats are carnivores, that' it. Mine won't eat the veggies that are in some of the tins anyway, suppose some eejit will think cos they eat grass they can be converted.

I'd like to know how they make it tempting/appetising to cats without adding meat or fish extracts of some kind Either way, it's total rubbish.

Completely but some veggieheads will think it'll work. I think they need to try and make cat food that doesn't have such a revolting smell, some of it is gross.
