Lap cat Bola?
I don't know what's come over him recently, but he's suddenly become a lap-cat, or at least a part time one
He clambered up last night as I was sat on the sofa with my feet on the footstool, curled up asleep but it wasn't long before he was stretched out full length down my legs. He's heavy and it was a tad uncomfortable but I didn't want to disturb him so put up with it, it was exactly the same position Black Tom used to end up in when I used to sprawl out on the sofa while he was here, so brought back a few happy memories of him

Re: Lap cat Bola?
He did it again about 1/2 an hour ago, tho' as he was barely on the footstool this time, the moment he stretched he fell off...............with the obligatory claws in the nearest flesh, that being my leg.............so I don't expect him to do it again tonight. I'll make sure I have my camera with me tho', just in case, as today's pose would have made a fantastic pic.

Re: Lap cat Bola?
Typical, I sat there with camera by my side and he didn't even come into the living room never mind sprawl across my legs
I think, but I'm not 100% sure, he may have been shook up after what sounded like a close encounter with a dog. I heard the dog barking like mad, then the flap crashed open followed by him tearing straight upstairs where he stayed for some time before venturing back down. It didn't stop him going back out later tho'.

Not the best of pics as he looks a bit scruffy, but still

Black Tom used to do the same thing, tho' he'd often end up upside down. I never could work out why he never fell/rolled off my legs
