Bargain weekend treat
Hi All,
I get most of my meat from our local butcher, and they usually have a box of *meat cuts* which are just the off cuts/wastage from the cooked meats they sell, but are a touch expensive. Anyhow, the Friday outdoor market here has recently started selling packs of meat cuts, same thing as the butcher, off cuts from the packs of cooked meat he sells, but these are only £1 for a 400g pack
They're usually too bitty to be of use to me, but are ideal for a weekend treat for my lot. This weeks pack contained, roast beef, corned beef, turkey, chicken and tongue........tho' the bit of tongue I tried would have been at home on the soles of my shoes, it didn't stop Bola making a pig of himself with some. A 400g pack is ample to last the weekend, and at only £1 a go, it's gotta be a bargain, it's just a pity the stallholder doesn't have them every week.

Oh boy, your lot are a lucky lot! Now of course you know, that once "word gets on the street", you'll have EVEN MORE visitors than you normally do!
The annoying thing about that is Prince would turn his nose up at it - the wee sh*te! He is SO fussy and never eats the things that NORMAL cats eat (oh with the exception of wafer ham of course)
