Cat pen toys
The man who is making the cat pen has finished it we just need to get the rest of the money for it (£500) and he will deliver it. We hope to have it by next weekend, its 6 feet wide and 24 feet long 6 of it being sheltered.
Now we just need stuff to put in it we are buying a cat fountain thing for them to drink from/play with and planting some cat grass and they will have catnip toys but other than that we're not sure what to give them anyone have any ideas?

Re: Cat pen toys
We put in ledges at different heights so they can jump from one to another. Steve put brackets onto the sides of the pen and attached the ledges that way. I also put in a scratching pole and if you can put a box or something low down and high up (on one of the ledges) they have somewhere to hide. I've also put in a thick branch from a fallen tree, so they have something to scratch and climb on.

This was the pen ages ago before we put in the *tree trunk*, just gives you an idea. This pen is square though, not as big as yours.

Re: Cat pen toys
Sounds fabulous!!! I bet the kitties will love it!
Pok and BG loves large trunks of drift wood... which we discovered when we got one to decorate the garden up at the house. Both of them used to scratch they're claws on it all the time, so it was the first thing we stuck in the courtyard from them (this one only being half the size of what we had at the house, maybe 70 centimeters long, about 50 centimeters thick).... other then that a chair works fine as a little lookout post.

Re: Cat pen toys
It is rather big isn't it its bigger than our kitchen, bathroom and my bedroom, there lucky buggers but there is 5 of them so i guess they need lots of room.
My mums gone out to get some wood to put in it and i'm looking on the internet for plants that they can have. I will post some pics as soon as we get it.
